Electropin offers four retention feature types: Star, Tabs/Spline, Inscribed Square, and Flat. Each provides distinct anti-rotation and pull-out resistance characteristics. The star feature can expand pin diameter by up to 50% over the wire diameter, making it especially effective for high-retention press-fit and post-insertion applications.

Pins are available in lead-free brass, stainless steel, and other metals. Lead-free brass provides good electrical conductivity and formability, while stainless steel offers higher strength and corrosion resistance. All materials are REACH and RoHS compliant, eliminating the regulatory concerns associated with traditional leaded brass used in machined pins.
