Electropin offers four retention feature options: Star, Tabs/Spline, Inscribed Square, and Flat. The Star feature can achieve a diameter up to 50% greater than the wire raw material, providing exceptional pull-out resistance. These features also deliver anti-rotational performance essential for automotive, PCB, and medical connector applications.

Electropin connector pins support three primary mounting methods: press-fit into metal, through-hole PCB mounting, and post-insertion into molded plastic parts. Select hinge and grooved pin designs are also engineered for high-speed automation assembly, where pins slide down tracks without requiring manual orientation.

Electropin can begin manufacturing and deliver the first batch of cold-formed connector pins in as little as two weeks, subject to raw material availability.
