Electropin achieves an industry-leading defect rate of just 1 in 600,000,000 pins. This exceptional accuracy is a direct result of the automatic die rolling (cold-forming) process, where tools do not dull over time, ensuring consistent dimensional quality from the very first pin to the millionth.

Electropin's automatic die rolling process produces up to 5 custom connector pins per second. This high-speed capability allows for rapid large-volume production, and production can be dramatically scaled up or down to match changing order requirements without significant lead time penalties.

When raw materials are available, Electropin can begin manufacturing and deliver your first batch of cold-formed pins in as little as two weeks. Subsequent batches are delivered on a customer-specified timeline, allowing procurement teams to plan around production schedules.

Electropin's cold-formed pins serve a wide range of industries including automotive connectors, farm equipment electrical systems, computer and electronics connectors, medical device connectors, and PCB circuit board assembly. Their lead-free construction makes them compliant for regulated industries such as medical and automotive.

Electropin offers four primary retention feature types: Star, Tabs/Spline, Inscribed Square, and Flat. The star feature can achieve up to 50% greater diameter than the wire raw material. These options provide strong anti-rotation and high retention strength for press-fit, through-hole, and post-insertion applications.

Electropin manufactures pins for three primary mounting methods: press-fit into metal parts, through-hole PCB mounting, and post-insertion into molded plastic parts. Select grooved and hinge pin types also support high-speed automation applications where pins slide down tracks without needing orientation.
